SPM English Literature 6th Cycle

SPM English Literature: An Overview


Consists of 4 Genres:


1. Short Story (A total of 5)

2. Novel (A total of 3 - Choose a minimum of 1)

3. Drama (A total of 3 - Choose a minimum of 1)

4. Poetry (3 themes - relationships, perceptions of self, and conflicts - choose a minimum of 1 theme, which consists of 6 poems)

There will be at least one question (with 3 parts) in whichever novel, drama and theme (in poetry) for the candidate to answer. In the short story section, a candidate has to be well-versed in at least 2 of the short stories but only needs to answer 1 short story which he/she has confidence in.
